The Uniqema business of Croda produced a superb new protective covering for fibres used in products as diverse as baby's nappies and polypropylene carpets.
But it was the comparative pictures taken by MSG's state of the art SSIMS imaging equipment that really convinced buyers the Uniqema treatment was way ahead of the competition.
Ther pictures seen here shows the Uniqema treatment on the left compared to those of a competitor on the right hand side. The competitor treatment ends up at this resolution as blobs on the fibres, while the Uniqema product is clearly distributed across the fibre. They say a picture paints a thousand words…
