New Opportunities for the Measurement Science Group
Nothing stands still in science, and that's certainly true for the Measurement Science Group.
Formerly part of. ICI's science and technology structure, MSG has now moved on to new ownership with Intertek, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification of products, commodities and systems, so we are joining a dedicated worldwide group of like-minded professionals.
I have been a part of MSG.for many years and I have to pay tribute to the quality and vast experience of the 42 scientists who are part of the team.
Precise measurements on complex formulations and complex micro-structures need sophisticated equipment and people who know what they are doing. The MSG has both in spades.
We have some of the best scientific kit in the world to assist our scientists and their customers investigate materials on all scales - from nanoparticles to bulk samples. More importantly, we have many experts who are at the top of their individual fields to interpret that data. This is particularly important in the field of problem-solving, where the experience of our scientists, and their understanding of 'real-life' processes, enables them to relate the measurements to the issues confronting you, our customers.
We have been delighted to welcome many new clients and have continued to expand the type of materials that we have studied. A few years ago we worked mainly on chemicals, polymers & composites and inorganic materials such as catalysts. These days we are also increasingly active in areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices and electronic materials. Please use this site to find out more about what we do, then get in touch with our dedicated team direct to discuss what we can do for you today.
